Primary payroll processor for Health Services (200+ employees). 1. Manages preparation of payroll certification and time card verification for Student Health Services (200+ employees). 2. Generation/Distribution of leave reports for Student Health Services. 3. Assists with audit of time cards. 4. Manages current records of annual/sick leave for all full time staff. 5. Responsible for generating and distributing departmental cost reports to the Associate Director Medical Health Administration. 6. Responsible for maintaining FMLA Tracking Log, for those employees who are approved for FMLA, to assure allotted FMLA hours are not exceeded and to meet requirements of Federal Act Compliance and University of Central Florida Auditing Department. 7. Serves as a liaison between SHS supervisors and the Office of Student Financial Assistance/Federal Work Study. Collects FWS students Award Summary for the semester and determines eligibility, tracks student eligibility and communicates the percentage the student has used for the current semester to the department supervisor. Serve as office manager for the Associate Director Medical Health Administration. Performing such duties as : Scheduling appointments and meetings; creation of meeting agendas, typing meeting minutes. Filing and retrieval of organizational documents, records and reports. Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries. Maintain confidentiality of patients, staff and health center information. Perform clerical duties to include but not limited to, bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing and filing. Provide office support to Associate Director's direct reports as needed. Assist with assigned project-based work. Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office. Assist in establishing and maintaining office and general files for the department. Assist with Business functions as needed (reconciliation of lab references invoices). Provide support with Human Resources functions. Assist with AAAHC accreditation performance improvement and strategic plan reports, policies and procedures related to departments under the supervision of the Associate Director of Medical Health Administration. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Associate Director Medical Health Administration.Position #:41313 Open Date:02/09/2018 Closing Date:02/22/2018 Annual Salary:$28,080.69 Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma and five years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Preferences: Previous experience processing payroll. Previous Health/Medical experience. Ability to multi-task, and assist with project management. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
