JOB SUMMARY: This position is in the General Tax Administration, Leesburg Service Center, Field Operations : Collections. The incumbent will be responsible for contacting taxpayers by phone, mail, or personal business location visits to resolve tax liabilities. The incumbent resolves billings, audits, returned items, collection agency accounts, levies, warrants, and revocations. The incumbent plans, processes, controls and coordinates actions in the filing and enforcement of liens, warrants and satisfactions for all Department of Revenue taxes. The incumbent will use collection procedures to execute levies, garnishments, transferee liability, issue subpoenas, prepare legal affidavits, perform physical asset inventories, secure legal service of documents and recommend final agency actions.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue;
Must have 6 months of GTA experience in managing accounts receivables, collections or financial services experience within an SAP system environment. OR, 18 months experience in managing accounts receivables, collections, or financial services experience. OR, four years of full time direct sales experience that includes cold calling;
Must have successfully completed field collection training in registrations, collections and account balance modules. OR, have four years of experience working with an online computer system and multiple software applications that include Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
