Summary: Entry level developmental position to assist Project Managers with activities of designated projects and reports to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame. :/h1:
This role will assist with the implementation of the reThink Your CommuteTM program across Central Florida. The reThink Your Commute program staff focus on shifting single:occupancy vehicle (SOV) commuter trips to transit, carpooling, biking, walking and telecommuting. Candidates should be familiar with public transportation, as well as the concepts and benefits of active and sustainable transportation.
The daily tasks in this role include reaching out to employers in Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia counties, requesting their participation in Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs.
General Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinates activities with project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Assist with client:requested technical studies and reports including financial research and analysis, business plan and pro:forma preparations, grant applications, historic research, equipment analysis, equipment valuation and costing, technical analysis of equipment for operations, and preparations of feasibility studies and reports.
Assists others in analyzing information and data to perform routine design tasks.
Conduct research and documentation comprised of the initial phases of the various project tasks.
Prepares project reports and updates for management, client, or others.
Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project schedule or scope or additional services.
Works with other team members/support the work of larger group.
Supervisory Responsibilities : No supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience : Associates degree (A.A.) or higher; or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
Language Ability : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Bilingual abilities are not required, but preferred.
Presentation Ability : Ability to prepare and execute presentations to the small and large groups. Experience with public speaking is preferred.
Sales Ability : Ability to identify prospects, develop phone scripts and execute cold calling.
Math Ability : Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability : Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical information to construct valid models for analysis
Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Experience with SugarCRM, SurveyMonkey and Constant Contact (or comparable platforms) is strongly recommended.
