In the role of ERP Business Analyst, you will function as the primary expert and owner who will configure, implement and maintain a small portfolio of business applications, with a primary focus on Holiday's implementation of JD Edwards ERP as well as future ERP solutions. The ERP Business Analyst will work with IT, business leaders, and end users to implement projects from concept through implementation. This role is a hands:on role with the IT ERP application team facilitating efforts in developing and supporting the ERP application for Holiday Retirement.
IT ERP Business Analyst:
:Support our broad portfolio of applications, with a primary emphasis on JD Edwards ERP Application.
:May serve as a secondary resource for a small portfolio of applications that are primarily owned by IT peers.
:Work collaboratively with business, IT, and vendor teams to analyze requirements, propose, execute, and support new solutions.
:Build and maintain strong relationships with business users by communicating effectively, understanding and documenting their needs, and delivering value.
:Work closely with business managers and users to understand and document their processes and procedures.
:Create application designs/configurations that leverage application strengths to meet business needs.
:Coordinates deployment of solution packages for system updates with ERP Developer.
:Analyze data and facilitate implementation of application interfaces.
:Use well defined processes to test applications and ensure they meet business requirements.
: Develop and maintain procedures that promote efficient business process and use of applications.
:Prepare, modify, and distribute documentation to end users for reference and training purposes.
: Develop schedules and conduct user training.
:Develop communications to end users to promote efficient use of the system.
:Independently manage tasks and helps drives projects to key milestones and completion.
:Act as primary ongoing owner for support of implemented systems. This includes implementing planned changes, as well as diagnosing and resolving all ad:hoc issues.
: Work collaboratively with outside vendors during the full lifecycle of projects from vendor selection to implementation and support of applications.
:Submit and track modifications and enhancements to applications including estimates, approvals, notifications, etc.
:Adhere to source code control best practices and prescribed production change control procedures.
:Other duties as assigned.
:Bachelors degree. Engineering or Computer Science majors are a plus.
:Minimum 5 years of experience working in Enterprise IT.
: 3+ (recent) years of experience as a JD Edwards or Enterprise Resource Planning Analyst. Related knowledge of MS SQL Server, SSRS, and ERP integrations is beneficial.
:Recent experience with JDE Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, Procurement, or Real Estate modules a plus.
:2+ (recent) years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar roles withstrengths in working with end users, gathering requirements, system configuration, and testing.
: ERP Application development experience is a major plus, specifically JDE Form Design (FDA), Report Design (RDA), and Object Management (OMW).
:Comfort working on multiple projects at the same time.
:Experience working both independently and in a team:oriented collaborative environment.
